IT Manager

In brief

The IT Manager will oversee all matters related to information technology at Ameelio. This is both an internal and client-facing role. The IT Manager will report to the Chief of Staff and work closely with Sales, Operation and Engineering teams.

Title: IT Manager

Compensation: $100-120K

Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: Remote-first. We also have an office in NYC that you could use.

Core Responsibilities

Strategy

• Work closely with the Operation and Sales teams to define hardware and software deployment strategy, architecture, and processes
• Work closely with Operation, Sales and Infrastructure teams to define and implement processes regarding requesting changes in back-end configurations, e.g. storage limits for Canvas.

Client-facing

• Lead in configuring the hardwares for DOC clients, e.g. tablet configuration, content upload, MDM setup
• Lead in configuring and managing the Ameelio Learn platform and create user guides for content management
• Onboard new DOC clients to IT services and assist with workstation setup and recommendations
• Serve as the IT point of contact for DOC clients as well as content providers
• Assess the performance of information technology systems for potential client organizations to determine deployment parameters and to construct deployment plans costs, additional infrastructure setup
• Assess MDM solution vendors and develop test strategies for new hardware and software configurations.

Internal

• Lead IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services internally
• Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organization
• Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to internal IT.

Core Competencies

• Four (4) years professional experience in IT management required.
• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to set and manage priorities in a changing work environment.
• Knowledge of and experience in hardware configuration and MDM setup required.
• Ability to exercise good judgment and focus on detail as required by the job.
